I realize the *Voice of the Times has never completely warmed up to Sarah Palin and that Binkley was their guy.. But WOW.. I still would have NEVER dreamed that they'd actually state that Tony is the guy for Alaskans in the upcoming gubanatorial campaign!!!

KUDOS to them!!!!

ADN ---------------> http://www.adn.com/opinion/story/8356270p-8251776c.html
Voice of the Times -> http://www.adn.com/opinion/voice/story/8356252p-8251744c.html

YeeeeHAW !!!!

Reminder: Tonight is the big KTUU debate!

(*Note: to anyone not from Alaska, there used to be two main newspapers in Anchorage. The Anchorage Daily News (ADN) which is bipartisan, and the Anchorage Times (very conservative).. When the Anchorage Daily News bought out the Times, there was a stipulation in the deal that allowed for the Times to have one page of the daily paper. They call it "The Voice of the Times"

And for them to throw their support behind Tony Knowles is HUGE!)

Yeah, BABY!!! ~~~~~~~~~~

1. It worries me because . . .
The Voice of the Times really is Bill Allen who is VECO. Shouldn't we be concerned that the Times (VECO), many traditional AK Repubs and the big 3 oil companies in AK are supporting Knowles?

I like it better when the VECO and big 3 don't support a candidate. Those companies are the ones I trust the least.

2. I don't care if the Voice of the Times is run by Dick Cheney at this point!
What matters to me is that state Republicans love that section of the paper -- and for them to endorse Tony Knowles is AWESOME!

Have you considered the alternative? Flip-flopper PALIN and her completely CLUELESS side-kick Parnell!?!?!

Uh. Thanks, but NO THANKS.

3. My concern, too, Ahgoo...
but Larissa has convinced me. One thing is for sure -- I definitely don't want Sarah.

4. Reluctantly so
I agree with you both b/c I don't want Sarah or Halcro. I voted for Tony twice b4 and will do so again but it is with reservations primarily due to The last 2 years of his last term and Ben Stevens' appointment and getting cozy with the oil patch gang.

I hope Ethan - whom I adore - helps to keep Tony real.

5. Me, too. Ethan was my first choice.
I voted for Eric in the primary. But I'll vote for Tony like I did in '94 and '98.
