I met him here at Bill Bryson's wake in January and wasn't impressed. My guess is he got those votes because of name recognition only. I was as shocked as you are that he got that many votes, especially because he's really a Republican, no matter how he tries to disguise himself.

I agree, how is that possible? Makes no sense. I doubt any republicans switched over to vote in the democratic primary with such an important primary for governor.
