What can we do to defeat the Don Young sleaze machine

and elect Diane Benson? Does anybody know how to get the DCCC to take some notice and provide support?

1. She's going to need a LOT of help !!

Especially raising money for political ads! LOTS and LOTS of political ads.

It's going to be really hard to unseat the 73 year old Don Young who wins election after election on name recognition alone.

But Don Young has so many things going against him that the Benson campaign would never run out of material!! The stuff you can find on Open Secrets, some of the Congressional websites and countless newspaper articles from all over the nation is staggering!

Diane Benson needs to flood the networks with ads that tell Alaskans who she is, and reminding Alaskans what he's been up to.

As far as the DCCC, I wonder if they'll get involved in a race they think we such a slim chance of winning? ..Especially when they look at numbers like the ones that rolled in last night!

Don Young didn't even campaign and he won by a landslide.

She needs Alaskans to get to know her.

With the defeat of the "bridges to nowhere" and the continued failure to get ANWR exploration through a RIGHT WING REPUBLICAN CONGRESS, we can clearly say, among other things, that spite-driven confrontation politics doesn't work for our delegation anymore.

These amounts do not include the numerous fundraisers hosted by Bill Allen and other VECO personnel for Young over the years.
