Knowles to run for governor again
http://www.adn.com/news/alaska/story/7780076p-7693042c.html

"Former Alaska Gov. Tony Knowles said Monday that he will run for a new term."

"In an interview with The Associated Press, the two-term Democrat invoked Alaska's only three-term governor, fellow Democrat Bill Egan, who returned to office in 1970 for the final planning of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System."

"Also Monday, House Minority Leader Ethan Berkowitz, D-Anchorage, said he would abandon his own gubernatorial campaign to run for lieutenant governor alongside Knowles."

"In Alaska, a person can serve a third term as governor if it does not immediately follow the previous two. Knowles was elected governor in 1994 and again in 1998."

2. I'm still backing Croft.
Hope this time Knowles, if nominated, is willing to work to elect a Democratic legislature. He always refused to do that when he was governor before.

Still, I'll back him if he wins the primary.

4. KTUU just released first ever poll.. Knowles and Palin lead the pack.
Murkowski is WAAAAAAAAAAAY down at the bottom of the heap.

They reminded viewers that it's only the first poll and things were bound to change at least some..

10. I like Croft too
He is standing strong for democratic values and telling it like it is.

Tony is assuming he will get the nomination based on his name. Well he didn't even fight when he ran for senate. Lisa should have been incredibly easy to beat, give me a break. Everyone in Alaska is pissed about the nepotism and no one likes her Dad either. Has Tony ever said anything about the possible stolen election in Alaska. We still don't know what happened in our last election and he did nothing to raise awareness.

I am sick of the politicians that just enable Bush and his cronies by playing along. It is time to stand up to them. If they are stealing elections, what is the point of running if you won't call them out on their bullshit?

6. If he can't beat Lisa....
how is he going to beat Frank?

Actually with the election issues in Alaska, how do we know he really lost to Lisa?

7. If you're not from Alaska
you have NO idea how unpopular Frank is here now. I would say just about anybody could beat Frank. Hell, I could beat Frank, and nobody even knows who I am. We will have a new governor, no doubt about it.
