3. I think you are right
The margin between Bush and Kerry in Alabama will be markedly smaller than that between the Republican and Democratic candidates in past presidential elections. IF the actual voting results are accurately reported and not tampered with in our state!

Everyone around here that I know and respect hates Bush.

Did you know this? In 1980, Reagan beat Carter by one point in Alabama. In 1983, the state legislature ushered in electronic voting. In 1984 Reagan won by 23 points. Now I know that there's a big difference between Carter and Mondale, but that's a pretty big turn in the vote in only four years, isn't it?
