AP Poll: Kerry Holds Small Lead Over Bush
Edited on Thu Oct-07-04 11:52 AM by BrentTaylor
Among 944 likely voters, the Democratic ticket of Kerry and Sen. John Edwards led Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney 50 percent to 46 percent. The Oct. 4-6 survey had a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

The race was tied 47-47 percent among all voters. Others polls show the race just as tight.

1. Headline Should Be "Kerry SURGES Into Lead After Debate Victory!"

Damn liberal media...

50 to 46 is a decent lead actually and a 12 POINT SWING. That's quite a turnaround from poll to poll.

5. That, for all intents, is a HUGE lead for Kerry.
More than enough to win.

Let's NOT go into a prevent defense, now, Kerry. STAY ON THE ATTACK.

Please unfreep today's CNN's little poll:

"Do you believe Saddam Hussein intended to produce weapons of mass destruction?"

Every little bit helps.

11. You gotta love this part
Nearly three-fourths of likely voters said they had watched or listened to the first presidential debate last week, according to the poll.

And given that, you've GOT to love the next part.

Only 8 percent came away with a more favorable view of Bush while 39 percent said they felt better about Kerry.
