From the new book we now hear that the President of Frances phone was bugged. One could ask the question How many other ppls phones are bugged

Why did Bush show up in the same towns at the same time as Kerry?

Why did Tony Blair support everything Bush wanted to do?

I am sure many other questions could be answered if Bush had a "Bug List" that his people receive the tapes on every day...

1. This is so late 60's and 70's. The corrupt repukes (including

georgie porgie Sr.) did horrible illegal tricks. Remember Nixon and
the tapes. How many of our leaders were assassinated. More black than white, of course back then, but our leaders that disagreed with the powers that be. They lied to us, spied on us, destroyed many of the few rights we have left and are fighting to keep in tact. Our Miranda rights were stripped under Ronald Reagan by Ed Meese back in '83 and it has just been a march to hell with these repukes since then. Believe me when I tell you that the south isn't still red for no reason. There is still johnny reb alive and well and in bed with mr. and mrs. georgie porgie.

4. We're fighting the same damn sons of bitches now that we were

back in the 60's. Not their political heirs, and (in most cases) not their kids...the SAME DAMN BASTARDS.

And, sadly, I have to agree that the roots are in the South. There is an autocratic mindset that has it's home in the historically hieratic society of Dixie. A sense that people should know their place in the scheme of things, and not upset that "natural" balance.

I would not be at all surprised if some post to DU from "work". The CIA is not a big monolithic organization, it's made up of people of all political views. And after the way the Bushies have treated them over the past 4 years, they could well be some of our best allies in this fight
