Which Bush will show up at Fridays debate?
The angry Bush?

The very calm and sedated Bush?

The overly hyper and smiling Bush?

The irritable , blinking and sighing Bush?

Which Bush will show up?

He's in the "Gore" trap folks.

This should be IMHO the number one talking point from now until Friday.

Which Bush will show up?

1. Message has to be that moral victories don't count
I hate analogies, but will still use one.

In 2003, the Detroit Tigers went 43-119, which was the worst record in the history of the American League. This year, they went 72-90. They were still nowhere near .500 and they did not make the playoffs -- but the team should feel good about their "moral victory."

On Friday, all Bush will have to do is not make so many faces for him to have done "better." At the same time, he will likely still suck. We have to get the message out loud and clear that when it comes to being the leader of the free world (sort of), moral victories are not good enough.
