Al Franken gives an exellent speech, says to VOLUNTEER.
http://moveleft.com

When Al Franken was in Colorado on Monday, Franken made an excellent speech to the audience gathered to watch him do the radio show.

The theme was that Bush used the phrase "hard work" a lot during the first debate, but Bush isn't doing the hard work necessary for success in Iraq.

If you want Bush out-of-office, you must do real hard work from now though November 2.

I list a couple of places you can volunteer below:

2. I have learned much
Since I got hooked on Franken's show (both Air America Radio and the one hour nightly show on the Sundance Channel), I have learned sooo much. He's always got great guests, serious and credible, and the things they say (without even trying to shake people up) are truly disturbing. They never run out of things to say-- ever!! There is just so much ground to cover.

And Franken is serious, intelligent, and totally committed. But he nevertheless can find time to laugh-- even if it's wry laughter. I have a lot of respect for what he's doing-- and he is making a difference, I know it.

Move On meeting tonight. Very motivated crowd. We are in Missouri.
This is a very very organized group. The meeting started and ended on time and everything that needed to be accomplished was done on time.
If that is the way things are working everywhere I like our chances.

6. This Should Be On The Sundance Channel Tomorrow
Last night they showed the program from Minneapolis...it was great...featuring Walter Mondale, Michael Stipe & Mike Buck, Tom Davis, the Minneapolis Mayor and Leo Kotke.

The theater was packed and rockin'...and gave Fritz a large standing ovation.

Al's TV show has gotten better in recent weeks. If you can get Sundance, do it NOW...also they'll be televising the ACT Concert on Monday.

It's nice to have quality choices to view from.

7. Franken made the speech on Monday, and he was in
Minnesota on Tuesday, so if they haven't shown the Monday speech yet, then I don't think they will.
