John Edwards is flawless, just stunning. Dick Cheney's voice is very monotone, flat. Low key, but you can really tell the hostility simmering under the surface.

17. From what I saw in the first half, Cheney was doing pretty good...

..coming out the gate, Edwards sidestepped Gwen Eifels first question, and then it was donwhill, until I turned off the TV.

Cheney was pretty impressive...seemed more fact-based, more focused on Kerrys record, and Edwards was coming across as more repeating campaign talking poiints.

Maybe things improved in the second half for Edwards, but I think Cheney did pretty good on this one.

First, his concise and overwhelming attack against Halliburton that Cheney spent the next two or threee speaking opportunities to return to it, leaving the other issues totally unexplored.

Cheney left the direct charges of distortion unanswered.

Remember this: they spin things like "global test", distort it, hype it, act puzzled over it and the reason they do that is that the truth simply won't do.
