Have you noticed lately how ANGRY republicans are?
I mean, they are like, really really angry and irrational. They seem to really hate John Kerry, I mean really hate him with a passion. I don't hear them talking about LIKING Bush*, but they just seem fixated on their paranoid and unreasoning hatred of Kerry. Why do they hate John Kerry so?

I mean, they just seem so A N G R Y.......Why are republicans so Angry?

Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 03:05 PM by lightbulb
conservative because they are essentially fearful people. Anger follows fear; the two go hand in hand. Kerry is about to kick Bush's butt back to Texas and the fearful ones know it. They are very afraid of this change and thus very angry.

the world is black or white to them, and I mean VERY DARK black or very white.

If you's agin 'em then you is pure evil incarnate.

Seriously - they fixate on ultimates. The fact that Bush might not win makes them consider that Kerry is the baby-eating antichrist himself.

12. Prying their eyes open makes them cranky.
They just saw their beloved leader for what he is, a petty puppet with dreams of being a tyrant.

So they have 2 choices: Admit they've made a mistake in supporting Bush, or dive yet again into denial and proclaim Kerry as a traitorious scoundrel.

16. Okay.
My little smiley winks didn't seem to convey the sorta sarcasm I was trying for.

Remember a few months back the repukes on TV kept talking about how angry the democrats were, making it sound unreasoning and silly and not pointed in a positive direction

I was lamely trying to throw that mantra back in their faces, now that they are freaking out.

Oh well. How're things in N'Awlins?

and ps--they hate to lose more than anything becuase they are laboring under the mistaken notion that no one else should ever win. They have all the toys and well you know the rest. It sort of fits the nationbuilding mentality of wacko fascists.

I turned onto the on-ramp and notice one of those Cadillacs with the ugly grill (like a Chrysler) behind me. I mean BEHIND me, headlight visible in each side mirror-style. So I tell myself "Self, let's open it up a little" and I floor it and hit the top of the ramp at 80. Mr. Caddy BLOWS around me like he's in a hurry. Has a vanity plate identifying him as a "Bigga Boosta" of my place of employment...

All I can figure is that he got torqued over the Kerry/Edwards and Kernan/Davis stickers on the back of my truck...

Then I catch-up with him at the bottom of the exit ramp for the road home...I'm sitting behind him laughing and making the "Tap forehead with index finger sign"...

minority (I hope for the sake of the country) that what we see with their reaction to Abu Ghraib and the Swath of Lies Boaters: They don't want to hear about the atrocities and they don't want to hear about the killing of civilians, etc. in Viet Nam. Interestingly enough, it turns out that the leader of the SBs (Hoffman) was actually giving orders to shoot civilians. I suspect that if they support the "anything our side does is OK" view, then anyone who raises the point that this is morally wrong is waking up that little voice in the Repub's head that knows good vs. bad. Voices in the head bad/empty head good. ARGH.

I really, really hate Bush.

I am very, very angry right now at Bush's world.

So, I guess they can be fools and hate in the wrong direction.

The problem is that this country is so incredibly divided, we will never come out of it. The hatred and anger will build until all we can do is split this place up. Like a nasty divorce.

Not to be pessimistic, but regardless of the outcome, you are witnessing the beginning of the end of the country we all love.

I just hope we get Florida and California - they can have the South. Of course, I'll have to come live with one of you guys if that happens.
