Belief that Bush lost the debate is GROWING!!!!!!
According to ramussen (premium) more people than ever are believing that Bush lost the debate. I think we should all pat each other on the back (AND KERRY!!!) for making sure it was known who was the clear winner!

2. When the mantle of inevitability our craven media had bestowed
on Bush fell off, it not merely made him vulnerable in an electoral sense, it has opened up the entire issue of whether his statements are believable and whether he is to be feared. He is now going to have to deal with a million hornets stinging him from every direction and he is going to feel the sting like never before.

3. You may think I'm nuts...
...but I truly believe that DUing online polls had a small but significant effect, especially at the local level. Skinner- you did a great job of compiling all of those local TV and news websites.

When an undecided voter turns off the TV, and is left with the impression from the analysts that Bush didn't do so well, these online polls seal the deal: reinforcing what they heard and saw. For all we know, some of these local media outlets may have even announced the results of their web poll on their evening news.

DUing polls, in and of itself, doesn't change minds. But it can tip a Kerry-leaning voter off the fence. We learned this the hard way back in 2000.

5. How is public opinion affected when debate watchers tell their non-debate
watching friends, family and co-workers bush lost?

The process must be osmotic and likely isn't noted by polls.

7. We've all done an excellent job of cementing this.
Three days+ later, it's unlikely to change.

Keep up the good work, folks.

8. How I feel about it... 4 years after 2000
"Looked dead, didn't I? But I wasn't. But it wasn't from lack of trying, I can tell you that. Actually, Bill's last bullet put me in a coma - A coma I was to lie in for four years. When I woke up, I went on what the movie advertisements refer to as a 'roaring rampage of revenge.' I roared. And I rampaged. And I got bloody satisfaction. I've killed a hell of a lot of people to get to this point, but I have only one more. The last one. The one I'm driving to right now. The only one left. And when I arrive at my destination, I am gonna kill Bill. "
