Imus is on Huge Anti Bush Rant!
Wow! Imus is going crazy! Says he's leaving the country if Bush wins.
He's rather be decapitated than vote for Bush. He'd rather kill himself than vote for Bush. Bush is a war criminal. Ha! This is great!

For those who don't know Don Imus. He has a morning radio talk show that also airs on MSNBC. Most viewers have a continual love/hate relationship with Imus, but he has a lot of listeners. And anyone who is anyone in the political world bows to Imus. He kisses no one's ass. His audience is huge and if he goes on like this everyday until the election, it will definitely have some impact.

1. I got a kick out him when...
the other guy mentioned that Imus formally supported Bush and he replied, "Are you CRAZY??? I'd rather be beheaded than vote for Bush!!!". Go Imus!

2. What is this guy - schizophrenic?
A few days ago he was villifying Kerry.

I think he's suffering from McCain's disease, he doesn't know what the eff he thinks. :)

3. Yeah he started last Friday by saying he was in Kerry's camp
Normally he wavers a lot, but he has been pretty clearly anti-Bush for a while.

5. Did you hear it when the whole crew started ragging on Condoleezza
Some real harsh stuff they were dishing out, even the Pub supporters, Bernie and Charles.

24. The Racist, Sexist Hyenas
McCord is a Bunnypants boy...I heard him say so last week and is always defending his assholiness. McGuirk is a total ass is Rosenberg and the "contributors". Of course we're supposed to think this is "boys being boys".

I catch the first hour of Imus while waiting for Washington Journal (sponsored by the AEI) and to avoid the crap on Faux & CNNservative. I used to watch him for all 3 hours every day until 9/11 and since then I just can't stomache the insensitivity displayed regularly on that show.

Imus waivered from supporting Kerry before the RNC, then while the Repugnicans were in town, he become "uncommitted", now he's back on the Kerry bandwagon again? I guess any vote means something, but I wouldn't put Imus' name on the major endorsement list.

Dumps on Bush regularly.

The home page gives you voter information, and instructs us to "Clip the Bush!" He is on a mission!

8. Bob Schieffer is on Imus now
and he said Kerry has gone from being the loser to the underdog and that people love the underdog??? I don't watch Face The Nation. Is this guy fair or is he a closet republican that will try to stick it to Kerry? Or is he equally hard on both?

11. Bob Schieffer's brother
had a business association with Bush, involving Texas baseball. Many think that this could influence his questioning of the candidates on Friday. I do not. Bob is one of the more decent ansd sincere people at that level of the media. If we want to think about it in Texas baseball terms, Bob may be the coach that tells Bush the country has decided to put a new pitcher into the game.

29. I like Bob S. too. During the Clinton debacle, he was one of the most
reasonable and courageous in pointing out perspectives the conservatives didn't like and refused to trash Clinton or Lewinsky--at least during the times I heard him.

Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 07:02 AM by npincus
Kerry did so well in the dabte and poll numbers are up- do you think? I listen to him occasionaly and have found him to be quite down on Kerry's chances to win, indirectly suppressing support for him by demoralizing Dems. What do you think changed Imus' attitude? I haven't listened to him this morning.

15. Shocked me too
It's hard to tell with this program if it was just sarcasm but he went on and on about holding fund raisers for Kerry, having him over for lunch, what a great President he will make. The show has been great this morning, very unusual.

18. No, Imus said he was NOT one of those people that would leave
the country if Bush won. The rest is true -- the decapitation and suicide part, saying he's never been a Bush supporter. Said he did not vote for Bush in 2000, said he wrote in McCain.

Imus is a strange, strange individual but he is the only person I know that is grumpier than me in the mornings so I get a kick out of him.

21. NO...
WHen Coulter is on he will be laughing and agreeing with everything she says. Imus changes his opinions depending on who is on that particular day. Tomorrow will be a pro-Bush day....Oh and if Edwards loses the debate tomorrow Imus will probably say Kerry/Edwards no longer have a chance again.

is himself.

But he still comes out only second-best to Howard Stern in the New York ratings market.

23. "He kisses no one's ass." Uh, ok if you say so. Imus is a "wet finger in
the wind" fraud who will kiss ass when someone is on his show (particularly if they donate to his "ranch") and then stab them in the back if they suffer some public opinion reversal the next day. Also his tendancy is to tout the expert opinion of the last expert he talked to.

31. The one time I caught his show was during the 2000 Election
He was talking about George W. Bush and telling his audience emphatically, "You gotta vote for this guy!"

I turned the channel and haven't listened since.

interesting than if everyone expressed agreement with one (Repug) view.
