besides thinking how proud we should all be to have John Kerry as a President, I could not help wondering whether any movie could even be made about Bush.
Do we even know what he was doing before he was elected as governor of Texas - when, 1994? Sure, now someone can make a movie of him standing on the rubbles of the Twin Towers with the megaphone in his hand, or his shaking hands of soldiers here and there. But what about his earlier years? What was he doing when he was 27?
How wonderful and articulate and gracious John Kerry was, way back in 1971.
There were very few of us during that matinee showing, but we did applaud at the end. A chuckle: some of Nixon tapes were played when Nixon asked: who does he think he is? Ralph Nader?
Great Movie. Real inspirational to feel confident and proud to have someone in the caliber of John Kerry wanting to serve our country. We almost do not deserve someone like that. Not when so many consider the ability to orate, to articulate, to be a shortcoming.
