1. I say it again he's becoming what Kennedy was to him for me
I hope he knows that. He's not simply not Bush to me, he's a guy who is just so damn amazing, there is a reason I think why I had him at number 2 so long ago, granted it wasn't number 1 but at least I can brag that I've really never had any problems with him.

4. lemme explain
Kerry's idol politically was Jack Kennedy, my idol is becoming John Kerry. God and we all share the same intials too, I'll be back, I need to change my middle name ;), kidding, I would never do that, because my middle name is very important to me. He will be great, Kerry that is, I like him better than any nominee we've had in my life which isn't saying much I guess.

9. same here.
Initially, for me, Kerry was NOT bush. But starting in the summer, I began to really like Kerry for who he IS. A real statesman. A person to be admired. Someone I'm so proud to be voting for!

I am going to have such a great time on November 2. It will feel so good to cast my vote for this man. (And I always take my kids with me to the polling place. It's such an important thing--and they _get_ that.)

I'm misting up now. Gotta go . . . ;-)

24. Agreed.
He's such an amazing man. His vision and passion are inspiring for me. I remember the first time I really saw him on TV, in a town hall setting, and I was literally in shock and awe. The man had the courage, sense, and innovation that is needed for a great President.

Lucky you being another up and coming JK who I'm sure will help change this country for the better.

22. I fell in love with John Kerry during the Democratic Convention
I was originally supporting Howard Dean, but made the transition to
John Kerry with ease. He continues to amaze me of his knowledge
on just about everything that's important to this country. I think
he clarified the very things people were concerned about all along,
and it will be very difficult for Bush's people to turn this thing
around again, even though they're working 24/7 to try and get it done. Kerry makes me feel secure because he is so knowledgable and
forceful, and not afraid of anything. He's going to be a great president. Edwards is the perfect running mate.

We havent seen him perform as President yet.

And Im a little biased re: JFK. ANYONE would have to be unbelievable to outdo him in my book. Just MHO.

33. Initially, he was like my number SIX guy...
behind Kucinich, Clark, Dean, Edwards, and even Sharpton. But the way he's conducted himself since he won the nomination, and the way he handled himself in the debate... I'll be DAMN proud to have him as our next President. I guess I just didn't really know him, but seriously... the debate firmly switched me from ABB to voting FOR Kerry. Amazing guy... wow.

11. Never see that kind of affection between Laura and George--
their body language when with each other reeks of distancing and separation. We see staged photo ops of the Stepford waving from her balcony to her dear husband as he embarks on another "hard work" journey. Even in the pictures I have seen of staged kisses during a rally, she never embraces him or touches him with anything that looks like true affection-and he grabs at her neck-it simply looks like the staged event it really is.

Whereas Teresa seems to many times, have her arm around John's back and seems to squeeze him in genuine affection--once I saw her place her head on his chest and rub her hand over his heart after one of his speeches. It just looked so sweet.

Same with the twins. Never have seen them express any closeness or affection to either one of the parents. Whereas I have seen photos of Kerry hugging his daughter and she hugs him back.

19. I know, he is so incredible!
Irks me that the press is still trying to play him as robotic and impersonal. I have been saying since February - all anyone needs to do is see the man in person. He has an amazing charisma, and easiness about him. He's comfortable with who he is. I love too that he so clearly adores Teresa. He just dotes on her. Bush acts like Laura is just the "old ball and chain." There is none of the affection you see with Kerry and Teresa and Edwards and Elizabeth.

As far as a name for a Kerry administration, how about simply calling it what it is - a renaissance - a rebirth after the dark ages of the Bush administration.

20. Kerry Smiles With His Eyes as Well
Have you ever noticed that when either W or Cheney "smile", their eyes remain dead? Kerry's eyes twinkle and are lively showing intelligence and wit.

John Edwards has one of the most geniune smiles I've ever seen as well. His whole face just lights up.

34. These are all great, Nation.
I honestly believe that the more the public learns about Kerry, the more they will come to want him as President. It's not just about disliking Bush. It is now becoming more of feeling good about Kerry.

Please tell Katrina I love her.

35. I told my dad this the other night--John Kerry is my hero.
He really is. Even if, god forbid, the republicans steal it away again, he will always be my hero for kicking *'s ass so hard that they couldn't spin the win away from him. Thank you, thank you, thank you John Kerry.

I'm 23, I liked Clinton but still had alot of problems with him. I was initially a Dean guy, but I always thought Kerry just *looked* presidential. Turns out its not just an act. The man really is the real thing. I couldn't be happier that he is our candidate, and by god, if he wins, I will love him forever.
