The spin machine at work.
I was watching MTP this morning and they said that even though Kerry won the debate, that people still trust Bush more with Iraq. Though they did place Kerry 3 points ahead of Bush overall. Russert went on to say that in the first debate in 1984, that Mondale won and the first debate in 1988, Dukakis won. Also in the first debate of 1992, Perot won. Those were different. The first debate this time was about Bush's percieved strength. He lost the debate. More people are coming to Kerry's side.

On another note, what did everyone think of the debate between Carson and Coburn? Neither really inspired me. Though, I am more liberal than both of them. The scary thing is that I agreed more with Coburn on the Patriot Act when he talked about civil Liberties.
