China and the "Global Test"
George Bush says that, "National security issues should be decided in the Oval Office, not in foreign capitals."

Yet he has handed to China, of all people, the power to decide what to do in North Korea, the only rogue country with nuclear weapons.

Talk about letting others control our national security?!?!?!?!?

1. Yeah, that was one I just shook my head at, watching the debate.
He doesn't like the words "global," "U.N.," or anything else that has to do with other countries cooperating with us.

Yet he kept insisting that bilateral talks with North Korea are a big mistake. That we need multilateral talks; we need the support of other countries, esp. China, to pressure the leader.

And _Kerry_ is "inconsistent"??

2. A great ad to counter the "Global Test" charge -
"George Bush (misleadingly) says that John Kerry would require "foreign capitals" to approve our actions to defend our national security." Yet at the same time he has given China control of our negotiations with North Korea....."

along with clips of the debate
