Condi with George Stephenopolis this morning.....
Was she a joke or what? G.S. was trying to get her to admit that the aluminum cones were not for nuclear weapons... she was just like chimp... wouldn't admit to a mistake. She has to be secretly hoping the chimp loses, so she won't have to make a fool of herself anymore....jeeze.. she was bad today.

1. Did what he had to do
She kept saying Bush did what he had to do in the debate. If that is what he had to do, can't wait for next Friday...

2. Gotta love this quote from Condi - neocon dribble
You simply don't understand the war on terrorism if you think that Iraq is a diversion in this war . There is a reason Zarquari and other terrorists are in Iraq and are fighting so desperately. They're fighting because they know that when there is a free and secure and democratizing Iraq, in the center of the Middle East that their ideology of hatred will be defeated. It is not enough to deal with Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, you must deal with the circumstances that produced Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.

3. If you are talking about the TUBES
...the Iraqi guy who wrote the "BOMB IN MY GARDEN" book was on CSPAN this morning. He said there was NO WAY those aluminum tubes had ANYTHING to do with nuclear production, because they were of insufficient size and width to have any use within the program.

4. Thanks for you correction......it was tubes.....
G.S. had information from top U.S. Nuclear Scientists that said the same thing... she just kept saying they made the right choice...and that there STILL a debate about those tubes and what they were for...she is such an ass.

5. Saddam could have nuclear weapons by the END OF THE DECADE!
WHAT????? Condi said several times this morning, when referring to Saddam, that he could have the nuclear capability by "THE END OF THE DECADE."

My question is, "What in the hell was the hurry, the urgency? If there was an EIGHT YEAR WINDOW, before the Mushroom Cloud (as Rice warned)was even possible, the logical (daaa) thing--stay in Afganistan, with the moral support of the world behind us, and get OBL. Then see where the terrorist trail takes us. How could giving the UN inspectors another six months or year, and taking more time to garner support of more allies have been a bad thing?

The Bush regime distortions, exaggerations, and fabrications would unravel if they waited another day. The truth would come out, and their rush to war would be derailed by the facts.

I think Edwards should quote Rice's "end of the decade" statement, and ask Cheney, "What in the hell was your hurry, really?" $$$$$$$

6. Welcome to the Underground 3113....
Edited on Sun Oct-03-04 01:59 PM by Jokinomx
I was thinking the same thing. Again confirming how we were lied to about the "IMMEDIATE" threat he supposedly was to us. The only threat he was to the U.S. was that this administration wouldn't be part of any agreement for oil. If the sanctions were lifted by the U.N., France and Russia already had signed contracts with Saddam for billions dollars of oil. The sanctions had worked... the country was falling apart and Saddam knew the only way to survive was to comply. Chimp couldn't take a chance that the inspectors would confirm he had no program or was no threat to other mid-eastern countries. So, we attacked him.... canceled the contracts and now are sitting on 60% of the world's known oil supplies.

8. Thanks for the heads up...
I hadn't heard that before, but makes perfect sense. To take a line from Paul Harvey, now I know the rest of the story.

7. I was going to stop my day and watch TW,
but now? Thanks for the heads up.

What a waste of air time. That anyone takes that woman
seriously or believes a word that comes out of her mouth
is disgusting.

Course now every time I see her I think if Janet Jackson's
SNL rendition of her, and that just makes me laugh.
