Wife's report from registering to vote
At tiny local library in Virginia Beach (aka Norfolk the largest military installation in the world)

She said there was someone there making sure every form was filled out correctly. The woman told her to be sure to put $1.61 postage on. SHe said "But it just says, 'Place Stamp Here'". The woman told her to put the extra postage on just to be sure. "This election is very important" she said.

Then my wife mentioned something about a woman taking them directly to the election office in bulk and she was numbering them. My wife's was #611 which she thought was a nice high number for such a small library.

People are motivated to take back their country.

2. This is good - People don't register in droves unless they are unhappy
with the status quo. High voter turnout always favors the Democrats - bet on it.

3. Great News...
I heard a sound byte a couple weeks ago referring to how the repugs have been touting how many new voters they are signing up....yet the Dems are strangely quiet on the topic. The analysis was... the Democrats know they are signing up hundreds of thousands and this will make a difference in the outcome. All we have to do is stay close in the polls .... because new voters are generally not counted in the surveys.
