I spend some time at a certain rightwing forum. I am not kidding when I say this--any response to Clark includes one of the following three words: Waco, Clinton, or nut. That's the Bush-lovers trifecta when it comes to The General.

So here's me, engaging in party treason, demonstrating to these rightwingers how to defeat Clark in '04:

Clark will win. Mark my words.
Get the smear attacks and lies ready.
Remember guys: "He's a nut!". We'll be using that a lot in the next year or so.

"Clark says he will catch bin Laden"
"He's a nut!"

"Clark says he'll make a better president than Bush"
"He's a nut!"

"Clark took a page out of Gephardt's playbook, calling Bush a miserable failure"
"He's a nut!"

It's the only three words we need to know for the '04 campaign season!

Basically, the anti-Clarkists have three words to come back at Clark. They are already using these three words anytime Clark is mentioned, and they are the only three words they'll use against the man that will face Bush--"HE'S A NUT", a phrase I keep seeing over and over amongst rightwingers.

But, you may be glimpsing the smears Clark has in store for him. Just as Dean is getting hit at every turn with the "waffler" lable, don't be surprised, if Clark continues to do well, to start seeing the "nut" mud being slung around by the fair and balanced media.
