Listen in as Dr. Mike Newcomb introduces you to a new Republican for Kerry every day between now and the Tempe debate! Listen as the New Times newest "Best Talk Show Host in Phoenix" talks to some Republicans who have seen the light. The first to appear on his show was Cele Peterson, who said on Dr. Mike's show "I believe that we are at one of the most critical times in our history," Cele said to Dr. Mike (Newcomb) today. "I believe that we are so traumatized, so obsessed with fear that we must turn it around. We must have a man in the presidency who can turn it around."

"On Second Thought" airs every day from 3 - 6 pm on 1100 KFNX radio in Phoenix. A new Republican for Kerry will appear every day at 4:00 pm from now until October 13.

6. Mountain but AZ doesn't observe daylight savings time...

...so we're always on Mountain Standard Time. That means we're an hour earlier than the rest of the Mountain Time Zone, until the end of this month. :)

8. Some Good Radio Happening In Phoenix

Don't ask me how I do it, but the Internet is a wonderful toy...I can scan the radio bands in many cities around the country and was pleasantly surprised on what I've been hearing in Phoenix.

The other night I was tuning around and ran across Randi Rhodes talking with Richard Holbrooke on 1010AM...I reckon they're either one of the new AAR affiliates or carries some of the network programming...but still very good to hear in the Valley of the Sun.

I've heard KFNX and mostly hear hate radio types...isn't that station owned by Salem...the company that runs the most rabid hate stations on the dial???

I listen to it every day at work now, and it's a beautiful thing. The only discrepency between AAR and this station is that they play Ed Schultz right after the Al Franken Show, but then Randi follows that, so it all works out.
