Oprah and Candidates: in 2000, she had on Bush on one show
and Gore on another.

Will she have on Bush or Kerry this year?

Should we ask her to at http://www.oprah.com/
?

1. I think Kerry and Edwards should go on together
That would pressure Bush to go on with Cheney.

Sweet!

2. She is a total Republican...
...her so called "boyfriend" Stedman, has a lobbying business in DC with conservative columnist Armstrong Williams, (who, according to David Brock in his book "Blinded By The Right", is gay)...don't think she will this year, because it's going against her pocket to give Kerry anymore time...

3. Did you see Oprah's show on Wed
"Oprah's Voting Party"?

IMV, it was worth much more than having Kerry on ..because then she would have to have bush on..and this was all about getting out the votes and you couldn't help but get that they wanted those votes to be Democratic!

I heard Ophra had some repubs calling and whining about the show so you know it was good!

7. No, I didn't watch that. Do you think we should fill out the
form at www.oprah.com to aks to invite Kerry and Edwards on?

8. That would be interesting if they went on her
show..and for "balance" bush could give her another "kiss"...I think she would cringe this time though.

Sure, why not?

4. I'll miss Rosie O'Donnell this cycle
She had Gore on the show and perhaps Bush, but made no bones about her runaway preference for Gore.

Rosie played a biographical piece about Gore in the final days before the election and refused to do the same for Bush, or even cancel the Gore piece, despite concerns from her producers. She threatened to quit immediately if the Gore segment was not allowed.

Kerry will shine on Oprah and help extend the gender gap.

5. Rosie is dirt. I will NEVER forgive her bashing of Clinton.
And her defense of that twerp Monica, as though she were defenseless and seduced by Clinton! Rosie did a lot of harm by that alone during election 2000 And she praised Bush effusively after 9-11. She is an idiot.

6. Well, I concede I never watched other than September/October 2000
During that period she was overwhelmingly pro-Gore and Democratic
