Clark bar or Dean red hots?
I check the cartoonists every day...right now over 50% are Bush bashers...maybe 20% lampoon Dean...and the rest are about other issues...so far not many about the other Dem candidates.

Are editorial cartoonists slanted against Dean...or is it because he is the frontrunner...or does he provide more material that is skewerable...

I check Cagle's Slate site...any other good sites?

Fell free to post any cartoons related to the primary...

1. I don't find this cartoon slanted against
either candidate. I think the one with Clay Aiken was kind of funny, but that was Kerry.

5. Plain, cuz we don't know who Clark is
I hope we dont' find out too late. Look what we got when Dean was finally examined up close and personal. Yikes!

7. I think the Clark bar
can come off not just as plain-looking but also as BOLD and STRONG and DECISIVE. The cartoonist may be trying to imply something other than what we're seeing. I certainly agree though that Clark has a lot of "blanks" that would be nice to see filled in.

16. Maybe you should count your blessings?
If Kerry was the frontrunner, don't you think they would be doing the same to him? And we all know there's aome skulls & bones in his closet....

17. Yeah, we've been giving Kerry a free ride with Skull & Bones.
The Republicans can taunt us by saying which bonesman do you want the real thing or bones light? Do you want some one who just voted for IWR, or do you want the person who actually waged the war and captured SH?

4. Who is the guy behind the counter supposed to represent?
I guess he's supposed to be whatever external forces are trying to define the race as being just between the doctor and the general?

Once again, if I supported one of the other candidates the premise would really offend me. Kerry, Lieberman, Gephardt, and Edwards are polling high enough in primary states to deserve to be mentioned --- Any of those guys could easily come from behind. It's happened before.

9. Nah.
He'd be dorkier looking, in an evil kinda way. And the cartoonist would've drawn wavy vertical lines above the guy's shoulders, representing the stench.
