The Week magazine depicts Osama as a Kerry supporter on its cover

I think that's irresponsible of them, and a slap in the face of a respected U.S. Senator. I don't think they can defend this as humorous or a depiction of current political opinion.

Please let them know (politely, please) what you think of this inaccurate portrayal:

6. It's a breezy summary of the week's events
in a rather rigid format. My mother signed me up for a subscription.

Check out their website:

8. A readers digest of current news stories.

I've flipped through it before and I was disgusted by what seemed to be an obvious conservative bias. I think it's a relatively new magazine, and it is not advertised as being conservative.

And check out the bizarre formatting on their covers... large color political drawing coupled with a smaller black and white photo of female model-type on the left. Weirds me out.

5. Thanks to Bush, Usama is better off now than he was four years ago.
Bin Laden used to be shunned by moderate Arabs, now, because of Bush's invasion of Iraq they think Bin Laden's actions are justified.

Bush is giving Bin Laden the "Holy War" that they both want.

Bin Laden had Saddam targeted for overthrow for years, so Islamic extremists could control Iraq. Bush gave him that wiythout securing a secular takeover.

Bush is Bin Laden's Santa Claus.

9. Actually, it's a fairly liberal magazine

I believe the cover is meant to be satire. It makes fun of how Bush is describing Kerry.
*On Edit- In fact, their DVD pick this week is Fahrenheit 9/11. And they recently sponsored a Clinton speech.

10. Falls a bit wide of the mark, IMHO
I haven't had a big problem with the magazine otherwise, though I believe I detect a bit of a pro-Bush bias.

I haven't read this issue yet. I'd tend to go along with your assessment though.

14. I would suggest...
...that people not send feedback unless they can read the actual article. The site doesn't seem to be obviously conservative, and if you simply react and criticize them without really understanding what it is you're criticizing you're going to look like a fool.

Who knows? Perhaps the article is about how absurd this particular piece of GOP spin is. (The bottom of the cover does seem to say: A vote for Kerry, the GOP says, is a vote for Osama. That's quite different than just saying: A vote for Kerry is a vote for Osama.)
