Back in 00 I recall that * debate prep was hand delivered to Gore but it was a fake meant for Gore to focus on the wrong things.

It was a complete Rove job. The point of the "leak" was so it would get in the news that "someone" had turned information that would hurt Bush in the debates over to Gore. Obviously, the "someone" would have to be a Gore supporter: why else would the person leak information to the Gore campaign? (I wonder...)

Of course, no one at the Gore campaign was stupid enough to actually look at it (nor did Rove expect them to), so it wouldn't have mattered if it were real or not.

Im just sharing what I found with people who I know have open minds, so if yours isnt so open, I suggest not reading topics started by me. I am extremely liberal, so much that I do not consider myself a democrat. Democrats are wimps as far as Im concerned (and very hypocritical). I am, however, a Kerry supporter. And as a supporter, if I find something like this that may actually be something of use or interest, I will share it on this board where I know there are many like minded people. This is supposed to be a debate prep made for use by Senator Kerry (but prepared for him by Bush-Cheney '04; first clue). The very first thing inside is "Your Current Position," which is as follows: "The removal of Saddam Hussein has made America less secure. You're currently against the war and wouldn't have gone to war, but you used to be for the war before you were against the war before you were for the war."

Sounds like something a stupid Freeper would write to get a chuckle from his friends (4th grade level sounds right).

For what its worth, I think its plain that this is satire, but I don't think you were involved in perping the myth.
