Do Polls Include the Expatriate Vote?
From everything I've read and heard, anti-Bush sentiment is running rampant among Americans living overseas. Something like 90-10.

After all, these lucky bastards have access to legitimate media and know what's really going on. Worse, they have to endure this never-before-seen level of anti-American sentiment firsthand.

There are quite a few Americans living abroad. 800,000 in Costa Rica alone. Does Zogby and Gallup include them?

3. Big problem with all polls are the assumptions they make!
I've not heard about the expatriots, but I suspect there's an assumed % in their model to account for what they think their vote might be.

All the pollsters set assumptions of % of certain voters who will actually vote in each state. Most of the assumptions are based on history. Even if they stick to the real history, voter anger in any given election will make all the poll results WRONG!

6. Costa Rica has a population of less than 4 million. I didn't
know that 25% of them were Americans.
