1. Kerry should say
I'm going to bring the troops home as soon as is safely possible. This war cannot be won.

Just not on the premises ScrubCo have set out. Being a bully and an asshole will get you somewhere in this world, but eventually you are going to get your ass kicked. Iraq is Scrub's ass-kicking.

When Kerry is elected, he'll have to reassess the situation before he can know for sure what he's up against. Can he get some of our former allies back to the table? Will the UN help train an Iraqi police and military force? Will a new President be enough to begin to calm the fears of the many factions and insurgents in Iraq? These are all questions that need answers before we make a rash decision about scrapping 1,000 American soldiers lives and a $200 billion dollar investment.

The war was WRONG, but it happened and there's nothing we can do to turn back history. We now have an obligation to put the Iraqi's back on track, both for their benefit and ours, since we showed up and busted their country to shit for them. We cannot just throw up our hands and say "We're leaving now. Have a nice day."
