For the love of all that's holy can someone explain to me the
the rationale for having Edwards speak to a crowd of "hundreds" a month before the friggin' election?

And DON'T tell me he's getting terrific local coverage, please...we need MORE than that right now.

He is an untapped resource that needs to be widely used - not in tiny little "townlets" - especially since he is becoming somewhat more of an "attack dog" which we need so desperately.

He should be speaking to our BASE -not these friggin' undecided quasi-Republicant undecided types.

1. Why do you think the base is going to vote for * if they are not courted?

2. huh ? that makes no sense, the base is already voting for him
what he is trying to do is get additional support so we have more votes during the elections. that's why he is speaking to others also.

and his crowds are in the thousands.

3. I was at an Edwards' "townlet" today ...

and I don't recall seeing any "quasi-Republicant undecided types". I did see, however, a very strong and diverse base of people who are being reinforced and motivated to get out and work hard. Not all of these events can be huge. I'm sure organization is a big issue. Try to reign in the desperation - take a breather ... things aren't as they seem!
Edit to add: The great thing about the smaller events is the intimacy and the opportunity to be heard. It also allows for spontaneity - John made it clear he was willing to answer any question.
