How a terrorist attack on our soil influenced the outcome of an election
Edited on Tue Sep-28-04 04:21 PM by prodigal_green
9/11/2001 was primary day in New York City. The primary was put off for a couple of weeks, Giuliani got some good press and Bloomberg ended up with the nomination. In the face of fear, instead of electing Democrat Mark Green, we ended up with the disaster known as Bloomberg (who enjoys something like a 35 or 40% approval rating).

Having seen that result, wouldn't it make sense for the terrorists to be campaigning for Bush, should they choose to attack before the election?
