So this truck with a B/C sticker pulls up next to me...

My truck has a bumper sticker on it that says "Just Cause I Drive A Truck Doesn't Mean I Like Bush". On the road, I pass the aforementioned B/C truck and get in front of it (heh, heh). We come to a light, and the passenger (who was rejected for Deliverance because he looked too dumb) rolls down the window and screams the following:

"Bush is the man! Woo!! Four more years of W and 'Merica ain't takin' shit from no-body! Fuck Kerry!"

He then rolled up the window, but I motioned for him to roll it down again. When he did, I said:

"Hey, thanks buddy! Could I have your phone number? The next time one of my friends wants to know what a real-life fucking ignoramus sounds like they can call YOU!

Thanks again, buddy. Have a great day you fucking idiot!"

I know, I know... (don't tell Mrs. DB)

I actually love having a truck for the simple reason that people might assume I'm a good-old Bush supporter until I get in front of them and show off my Kerry/Edwards sticker. Defying stereotypes is fun, even if the only reason I drive a truck is that I found one that was more affordable than a car.

25. My 70 yo daddy has a Ford 250, diesel, 4x4

he always wanted a big ol truck so he finally just got him one. He has a Retired Navy decal (25 years, CWO4), magnetic flags, NRA, don't tax my beer(he doesn't even drink beer). Daddy is a strange character, believes that everyone has equal rights and no one's rights should infringe on others. He is the Commander for the Honor Guard in town, they give military funerals for Vets (no charge, all volunteers).

Anyway, to see him and his truck you would think Redneck Republican.
He has a K/E bumpersticker, and most recently added "Another Veteran Against Bush"

14. That's funny! I had a similar incident on Sunday

I was on my way back from downtown after attending a birthday party. The football game had just finished and traffic was really bad. It was a beautiful day so I was driving with my windows down and Dean Martin cranked on the radio. I have a Kerry bumper sticker on my vehicle and this passing SUV, the guy in the passenger seat screams across two lines of traffic, "Kerry sucks!" (Yes, I know quite the intellectual, ay?) I caught up with the vehicle in question as I was exiting the highway, I just honked and waved while smiling. Kind of a "bye bye knucklehead" gesture.
