Letterman must have received a lot of complaints from Bush supporters.
They forced him to dis Kerry. Did you see his show last night? His top ten was about Dumbya but one of them called Kerry as horse-faced? And Letterman kept referring to Kerry as John W. Kerry. Am I missing something with that? When John Kerry wins and pundits and comedians refer to him as horse-faced I will be pissed. Not once do I hear any pundit or comedian refer to * as Chimp. And we all know he resembles one!

1. Well what is most important
is that Letterman will be voting for Kerry on November 2nd. I am pretty sure about that.

6. I wonder if
he's trying to point out how stupid his audience is. They seemed to cheer just as loudly for GW as JW, go figure.

3. Letterman has been taking shots at Kerry for months.
Nothing new here. This is what happens on comedy shows.

What matters is that Dave is a dyed-in-the-wool Dem and respects Kerry greatly. We wouldn't want him to fawn exclusively over one candidate or the other, and refuse to take shots at the opponent. (See also: Miller, Dennis.)

4. Calm down people...

.. Letterman has been calling Kerry horse-faced from day one. The "W" part is a joke too. (He also called Gore Al W Gore if you remember)

It's only humor people. He's having his way with both candidates.

Lighten up, it's a comedy show

We Democrats are notoriously thin skinned and seem to hae no discernable sense of humor.

Watch. After reading this, several of you will hit the alert button and call me a Freeper. I rest my case.

11. I don't need to lighten up. I like Letterman and still do.
But I don't want these guys to start right off the bat calling Kerry horse-face when they didn't call Bush as chimp or chimp-face. If they did, I want to see proof.

5. Leno gives Kerry a bad time, too.
But he did an interview last week, & said he is a liberal.

8. I would have bet money that leno is a rethug - he kneels down to
bush and always takes deep, cutting remarks at dems

9. Leno is no liberal.
He's been seduced by the money. He's a Rethug, of the Gropenator variety.

12. Number 1 reason why Letterman is now saying anti-Kerry Jokes
1. Because he heard that Leno is going to retire and he's auditioning for the job.

<boom, boom>

13. no, the real number one reason
Is that CBS probably put out the word to everyone to tilt back towards Dubya. Gotta keep the boss happy.

14. That's what late-night comics do.
Leno busts on both sides ... but he recently came out and said he's not a conservative ... it's their JOB to be equal-opportunity offenders. They make fun of what's funny. And sometimes, Kerry does stuff that makes ME laugh (or cringe).

What's important is that Letterman has those little snips of George W. Bush all the time -- him saying stupid stuff, forgetting what he's talking about in mid-sentence, etc. Makes Chimpy look like a friggin' idiot.

15. I don't mind horse-faced jokes
or jokes about how big his head is. I think they're funny.

What I HATE is when Leno, for example, makes flip-flop jokes, which I don't think are really jokes, they're just RNC talking points.

but usually is hardest on Bush.
