Do Kerry campaigners lurk here??????
I have posted messages on Yahoo that are resonating quite positively and thought to share it with all of you DUer's.

It would be a subject for an advertising blitz.

It is the video that Bush produced of himself wandering around the oval office looking for Saddam's imaginary WMD arsonal. He thought it was funny....so funny that he produced the video and showed it at the national press luncheon.

Given that over 1080 troops have died, and countless thousands of Iraq;s have been killed over these imaginary WMD...I don't find it funny. Do you?????

2. So what happens if.....
You do a dramatic re-enactment of the same?????

As far as I am concerned, this goes directly to George W. Bush's character....or lack thereof.

More people should at the very least be aware. It is total absymmal lack of character to make such a poor excuse of a joke.

That's gotta be public domain.

15. that's not a problem

Political use of it would be covered by the Fair Use doctrine, i.e. it can be argued to contribute to vital national debate, a criminal investigation, or other ostensible public interest.

Using it to make money, or ruin Bush's ability to make money from it if that was plausible, is the kind of thing that is actionable under copyright law.

8. As far as I know - yes he did
The Daily Show did a blip on it.

He released it during a press luncheon.... he thought it was funny.

13. Wasn't it at the annual press dinner?
I think it was at a formal function and he thought it was so clever for him to go around looking under chairs saying "are they here?" "nope, not here" what an idiot.

9. I remember it being shown at the black tie
Edited on Mon Sep-27-04 07:11 PM by dogtag
annual White House Correspondent's dinner. The audience cackled approvingly at the time, but there was an immediate backlash the following day. It was shown on several programs, but unlike a Democrat's gaffe, it quickly disappeared from view.

I think it would make a devastating ad. Needs no embellishment whatever. Just roll it.

11. That is what I think too
I'd sure like to see it blitzed nationwide.

Goes directly to the heart of his character - or lack of.
I think it is in very poor taste to ridicule the US weapons inspection team, and given how many have since been killed in Iraq - the war started BECAUSE of Saddam's imaginary WMD.....well it just makes me sick to my stomach that the Commander-in-chief would think a trifling funny little matter.

17. Yes! That's where I saw it (not in F9/11) - it was a slide show with bush
making 'joking' commentary on each one.

The additional shame was in how the audience reacted.

George-The-Second-Coming surely is a Godly man, eh?

While others shed tears, he laughs like a crazed fool.
