1. BTW, when is it?
I wouldn't mind attempting to watch our Great Leader as he puppet-speaks to the sheepish hordes.

They weren't sheeps, apparently.

3. Probably more of a splat than a bounce

7. LOL!
That's a good one. I was thinking more of a dull, hollow THUD, but a SPLAT works too.

4. They won't show either press conferences on the news
I betcha. Or they will edit the hell out of it and now show the question and answer period.

Hope I'm wrong.

5. 50 points, at least....
Between this and the results of his speech to the UN yesterday (New Zealand heard it and dropped out of the coalition)....he'll have a "bounce" in the polls, even if they have to call every Republican in the phone book to get it.

8. Rove places call to Blitzer, Tweety, Liason...and A$$craft
To the three stooges, two words = "got it"
They reply, "got it"

To A$$craft, one word = "Now"
DOJ reply, "Terra Alert"

As the blip fades into reality show mammary.

DATELINE: WASHINGTON DC

<reporter>Today, the *President held a press conference, discussing among other things, the modest bounce he got in the polls as a result of the nationally televised beating of a brown-skinned Muslim child by the *President during prime time last night.

<shrub>"I decided it isn't enough to send some hand-picked bigots to do these kinds of things at Abu Ghraib halfway around the world. I figured we needed to bring the *War on Terra* to the homefront, and I decided to get personally involved, so I beat that kid half to death on TV last night to show our resolve."

<reporter> We interviewed a cross-section of voters around the country to get some reaction from "likely voters" First, Jeff is a liberal Democrat from Flint, MI.

<Jeff> "This is an outrage! How can we stand by and..//<cut>

<reporter> Um,OK, Jeff, from Flint, thanks.

<reporter> Next we have Mark, who is an "undecided" voter from Omaha. "Tell us Mark, did the *President's actions help you make up your mind who to vote for?

<Mark> "Well, beating that child was a horrible thing, BUT, I keep hearing how Kerry is a *flip flopper*, so geez, I still don't know....."

<reporter> Lastly, we go to sister Bertha Lou Better Than You, outside the First Self Righteous Church in Pascagoula.

<Bertha> "Well, you know, beating that child MIGHT have been wrong, but at least he's doing SOMETHING about terrorism, even if it is wrong. What did Clinton do about it? Nothing! And that Lewinsky affair is just unforgiveable I tell you. I'll be voting for *Bush, no doubt."

<reporter> "There you have it, the *President's latest action in the *War on Terra*. This has been a Faux News special report. We now return to our regular programming, we'll be joining "Blame the Clenis" in progress......
