Foreign DU'ers and Expats - What's the Coverage of the Campaign Like?

How much coverage is the race getting? What are the general impressions? What's the press' tone? And are people paying attention to the race overseas a lot? I'd imagine they would. Do people, however, talk about the race amongst themselves?

I'm especially looking into insight from any French DU'ers (I read Le Monde online sometimes but my French is only somewhat good, and I can usually get the gist of what's being said, but not a big overall feel for the mood of the country.)
