1. It's a free weekly paper owned by the Village Voice

And it's more reputable than a lot of So Called Liberal Media Bush-whoring sources.

2. The story is quite solid

I've read it. Also, apparently LA Weekly is highly regarded in California politics. Additionally, a network TV station is looking into it but not all of our sources wanna go on record for national TV. We'll see, I guess, probably by how the LA Weekly thing plays out (starting at 7pm EDT).
