She tends to get overlooked, because everyone assumes when there's sleaze, it's Rove. But she is pure evil just like him, and, what's more, she knows how the witless media works. The White House knows that if you throw the press a bone like this, the truth will never come out. Ad nauseum they are now reporting on whether they're forgeries, dwelling on subscripts, etc., and will never report what really is true, for all they care about right now is that there's a controversy, and the media loves controversy, so they will keep this alive for as long as possible.

Two questions now will never get answered, and they're just thrilled.

1.) If they're forgeries, why did the White House have them?

2.) If they're forgeries, why are the experts saying that the signature is real?

Burn in hell Karen, you're gonna deserve it.

3. The response to the two questions

1. CBS News faxed the documents to the White House. The White House then released the documents without questioning their authenticity.
2. CBS News does not have the original documents. They only have copies and the argument is that Killian's signature could have been cut and pasted onto the memos. (Which seems like a far out possiblity to me given that the type matches underneath the signature.)
