I get at least one call a day from the Kerry campaign (m)

from either the Michigan Kerry campaign, the county dem. party, or the local organizer. Sometimes I get a call from each of them.

They are campaigning VERY hard in Michigan and it's showing. Actually, I'm campaigning too :) As is my beautiful little girl in her Kids for Kerry shirt.

I'm really feeling good about the campaign. We certainly didn't have this kind of action when Gore was running four years ago. Or either time Clinton was running. I've never seen this many dem. candidate bumper stickers, yard signs, etc., even in the strongest republican strongholds. There are areas where there is no local democratic party and all local elections are decided in the republican primary. I'm seeing Kerry bumper stickers and yard signs even in these areas. Lots of them.

Just wanted to pass along my happy optimistic vibes to you all :)

I worked at our local campaign headquarters today making phone calls.

Here in Vermont I get nothing and not even a visit from either. I suppose it's a good thing Vermont is a sure bet for Democrats but it makes it quite boring during election season.
