3. Yeah this is a waste of time. I wouldn't be surpridsed if the editors
"set up" the story themselves. Mooney Times is shameless.

4. So what did the Washington Times say about CBS being duped?
Let's see how quickly the Washington Times rushes to apologize for being mislead. Let's see if other media pick up the scandal of the Washington Times being misled and refusing to launch a thorough investigation. By the way, it appears that the author of the Washington Times articles is a fairly well known conservative. (Do a search for Robert Stacy McCain and his name comes up a lot.)

6. Okay, I sent this

To the Editor:

I am amazed that a Bush/Cheney sign was ripped up at an Edwards rally. What was it doing there? Didn't the security guys search the family after they signed their loyalty oath?

Oh wait! Its the Bush folks that make you sign loyalty oaths before you can attend one of their "open, spontaneous" rallies.

If the Purlock's did something like that at a GOP rally the sign wouldn't have been torn. They would have been arrested just like the woman whose son died as a result of Bush's policies. She was arrested on camera outside a talk by Laura Bush, whose husband managed to stay out of harm's way when the bullets were flying.

If there are any newspeople left on your staff, I have to ask them: is this what you thought you'd be doing when you got into the business?

Pathetic.

8. I sent this
Internet bloggers may have identified the unnamed "union man" in Robert Stacy McCain's article "Democrats accused of ripping Bush signs" who allegedly tore a sign out of Phil Parlock's 3-year-old daughter's hands. The man, who is wearing a painter's union t-shirt and holding a corner of the girl's sign in the AP photo that accompanied the story's introduction to the blogosphere courtesy of Matt Drudge, bears a striking resemblance to one of Phil Parlock's oldest sons. Interestingly, Mr. Parlock has had several incidents of signs being ripped out of his hands at opposition rallies going back to 1998, and even more interesting, they've all been reported in his local newspaper.

You've been scammed. Admit it.

11. Washington Times is the next step in the RW echo chamber
they probably know the truth before they print the lies. It's fine to let them know that we're on to their BS but it's more important to nip this thing in the bud before it becomes the big news on the cable news networks which is the next step in the echo chamber. We need to bombard all of the other media with the truth about this scam.

12. It's important to get the truth out to media that will disseminate it,
but it's also important to let liars know they can't get away with it.

10. It only takes a minute, and if enough of us do it, we've bombed the shit
out of them. It's not a waste of time.
