4. Depends on how blood red their districts are, doesn't it?
Hopefully at least some will go, replaced by a better Democrat and not a teabagger.

5. Childers and Taylor, the white reps from Mississippi. What a surprise. Not.
Can't we just clone Bennie Thompson and get rid of these idiotic crypto-confederate white Democratic congressmen we still have in Mississippi?

12. Out of 34, 20 are Southerners. What a disgrace the Southern reps are.
southerners are in more dire need of health care and better health insurance than any other area of the nation. Their representatives in Congress are really a sorry-ass lot. And each of the 20 is a white guy; no black Southern representatives voted against the House bill.

13. They may be one repub vote
http://www.rollcall.com/news/40402-1.html?type=printer_friendly

Rep. Anh “Joseph” Cao (R-La.), a former Jesuit seminarian, is rumored to be on the fence if the House approves the amendment authored by Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) that would prevent federal funding for abortions.

14. Steny Hoyer needs to pay fellow MD Dem Kratovil a visit
needs to stress to Kratovil that he needs Hoyer's and the MD Dem establishment's support if he hopes to win reelection and he's not gettting that right now.

17. My blue dog, Jim Marshall, is there.
His reasons for voting against this bill make me ill. All the same, I am glad he voted against it. Without the Kucinich Amendment, it's bad legislation.

than the north, which is represented by Ben Ray Luján Jr. and fairly democratic.

But I agree, we need to find the progressives and vote them in.

21. Chet Edwards is there
He kept saying all along "I'm not going to decide until I've read the whole bill." Just a stalling tactic, he never had any intention to vote for it.

Pretty much what I expected. The Waco paper urged him to "vote with his constituents" -- if he had voted for it, I would have been very surprised.
