Mark my word the rethugs will be blaming Obama for this shooting
Edited on Thu Nov-05-09 05:43 PM by bigdarryl
the media is in so many words saying this is possible terrorism because the main shooter is a MAJOR in the Army and has an Arabic name. Pete Williams just reported it on MSNBC. The rethugs will say Obama isn't keeping us safe mark my word

3. Yes, and it will be utter bullshit. The shrub created the Islamic
Evil, the Evildoers, the Axis of Evil and a lot of other Evil shit. Obama has tact and tries to reach out while the shrub cried, "Bring It On!"

Repercussions of his eight years of hell will be around for a long, long time.

4. A "Major" would have been in the army a pretty long time.
And a lot longer than Obama has been president.

16. He wasn't in that long
<snip>
Major Hasan arrived at Fort Hood in July. He served 6 years at Walter Reed Army Medical. Hasan was 39 with no children. Major Hasan graduated from Virginia Tech, his medical degree from Uniformed Services in Bethesda. He did his residency, internship and fellowship at Walter Reed.
<snip>

The military takes Drs. as officers all the time.

He did not want to go to the Middle-East.

Keith just reported - apparantly this guy was talking on-line about suicide bombings 6 months ago the FBI was investigating. WTF? Why wasn't he kicked out?

6. If the shooter was major, he's been in the Army for several years.
No way President Obama could be blamed, even by the nut-thugs.

...wars they mostly started, mostly supported and more than mostly fucked up on.

13. It DID happen on Obama's watch and he IS the Commander in Chief of the military
Edited on Thu Nov-05-09 07:08 PM by slackmaster
So who can blame them for saying that when they do (which I'm also sure they will)?

15. So you think some mentally unstable guy killing
Edited on Thu Nov-05-09 08:28 PM by Kdillard
innocent people is Obama's fault as Commander In Chief? That reasoning makes no sense to me. Now if Obama was personally told that this guy was going to do something insane and didn't have his superiors remove him that is something where I could see blame being placed on the CIC's lap. However this was a tragedy and nobody is to blame but that murderer. It also sickens me that this person had anything to do with the mental health of our soldiers.

17. No, of course it's not President Obama's fault, please don't put words in my mouth
But as CinC he is ulitmately responsible for the safety of military people.

19. I don't blame him and agree that it would be stupid to do so
But he is responsible for making sure that the Army figures out what went wrong and develops a plan to prevent it from happening again.

The majority of the country knows that... and those who don't wouldn't vote for a Dem anyway.

22. They ALREADY HAVE - check this out -
I turned on faux earlier to see if they were reporting on the shooting or the teabaggers...expecting to see the teabaggers.
It was Shep and he was interviewing some retired Col. that supposedly worked with Hasan. He said that Hasan was hoping that Obama would pull all the troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan and was very upset that Obama wasn't. :crazy:
