Here's what happens in a lop-sided election... Barbara-fucking-Comstock won!
Edited on Wed Nov-04-09 03:04 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
Last night was not a "wave election" most places but in Virginia it was. A guy whose platform as Attorney General was a promise to not enforce the gun laws won by 17%.

When the top election--governor, in this case--is such a one-sided bummer (McConnell closed at 99.2% on Intrade) Democrats stay home and weird things happen down-ticket.

In 1980 and 1994 a lot of Republican psychos who were just running as an excuse to get out of the house more were quite surprised to find themselves winning races when things broke hard in the last week.

Anyway, my bete noir, Barbara Fucking Comstock actually eked out a close win because all the Dems stayed home.

She's that rat-faced lady who was a spokesman for Ashcroft and for Delay. She's been on cable TV for years promoting torture and book-burning and such. One of the worst.

And now an office-holder from a NoVa district that Obama probably carried 60-40.

1. If the carpetbagger Terry McCulliff didn't wash out Jim Moran's votes, we just might
have defeated the BAT SHIT CRAZY Bob McDonnell. Now we're stuck with this wing-nut for four f**king years.

Thanks TERRY! Thanks DLC Corporate Crones. :grr:

2. Well, it seemed all summer long the Democrats stayed home and let the freepers reign
at the town hall meetings. Even when it was a Democrat holding the meetings it was the looney right who took control. Where were all the Dems then?

4. hmm ... a promise not to enforce certain laws ...
does that mean that we will see him doing a perp-walk for doing other things that aren't legal?
