7. Need option #3. Nobody cares, the holidays are coming and people are sick of politics after
last year.

While I'm interested in analyzing this, I can't scrape a single person in my private life who even wants to talk about it for one minute.

I think we all collectively need to back away from the blogs and the cablecritters and take a chill pill on this one. It really isn't that relevant, despite the fact that I can't stop contemplating it!

11. It means they had a shitty candidate, apparently
But he wasn't nearly as shitty as the guy he beat in the primary, who is one of the DLC's biggest pieces of shit.

Probably comes down to the fact that there are so very few real Democrats in Virginia, and none of them seem to be interested in running for the "big" offices.

13. No ....
It means many Virginians are morans. Like that JP in Louisiana who refused to marry interracial couples.

Virginia is traditionally conservative and will probably stay that way until the state is so poor they find it more acceptable not to be conservative. Poverty is a great motivator for ideological change.

I would have been surprised if the Democrats had taken the Governor's office there. Obama has nothing to do with it. His coattails are simply not that long yet.

19. Yes, if the Dems lose a race for dog catcher in Bumfuck Arkansas
That means that Obama is the worst president in the history of the US and should immediately resign in disgrace. Or be thrown out of the white house on his ass.

20. No. VA is not a dem state, despite Obama's win here. It's a RW
dump, basically, except for a small part of N VA. The RW nutbags and their fellow travelers are all over this place. Plus Deeds ran a shitty campaign and was a weak dem anyway.

30. You simply can't be that naive
You're the same clown that said that a murderer should be "set free" versus executing him, then walked away.

I don't trust your motives.

What the heck is wrong with that?

I'm sorry, but I don't even know who you are. And the post you're referring to, I meant that he should be freed from death row, not free from prison.

Now you call me a clown? Excuse me, but you're the clown.

What the hell kind of motives would I have wondering what DUers think? It was a simple and poll. Nothing more, nothing less.

You make no sense.

You don't trust me? Oh how ever will I sleep tonight. :eyes:

The media is playing to the angle that this is a referendum on Obama. I completely disagree.

I just wanted to know what other DUers think. So I posted a poll.

Apparently 5 DUers think Obama has failed.

29. no, but it does mean WE are failing.
we need to get on the ball like we did in the last two elections and get our money machines rolling again.

times were tough already then and we managed to scrape ourselves together and fund opposition.

its time to fund anybody who shares any of our beliefs and stop this madness of extreme conservatism.
