I lived through the terrible Korean, and Vietnam Wars, great social injustices like segregation, the assassination of JFK and others, the presidencies of Nixon, Reagan, Bush1, and Bush2, and a lot of other awful things, I think I'll make it.

I just remember that it's been a lot worse. It could be again, of course, but I hope and pray every day that it doesn't. Those were dark days, and I don't want to relive them one little bit.
