Wanda Sykes: That's like somebody giving you CPR and you go, 'Oh, your breath stinks'
Edited on Sat Oct-31-09 06:50 AM by uponit7771
LOFL!!!!

This is JUST how some folk on DU sound, no awareness of the scope of mess Obama has to fix therefore no awareness of the job he's done so far so it's OK to minimize his impact on America and the world by exploding into rage when 100% of everything doesn't go the way they thought it should go.

Had to OP what she said, it was hammer meet nail head...

2. What about promising CPR to someone and choking them instead?
You know--forcing us to buy useless private insurance.

4. So it's OK if I like the Lily Ledbetter pay act and other good stuff
--but not OK if I don't like being robbed at gunpoint to support useless parasites?

Is partly liking the stimulus bill but not liking how Repukes watered it down OK?

I know, you and Wanda and the gang don't do actual issues. Too bad.

14. If you think it's useless then you must be against health care reform?
Why is it useless? If you get sick, it pays for the treatment!

This is about as insane as it gets.

The whole point is to get everyone covered.

23. Given that thes are private insurance companies, it may well not pay for treatment
They deny claims all the time now, and nothing in the legislation prevents them from jacking up rates and turning down claims as often as they feel like doing it.

I am utterly against giving any of my money to useless parasites. Just let me buy into Medicare, where all but 3% of the money goes for CARE.

24. Just wondering how much you've had to pay into this
already useless private insurance from a signed sealed and delivered bill so far?

managed to convince themselves that they are just SO terribly cute and clever by spouting info that you have made no effort to hide. It's really a shame that the number of other people on this site also convinced of their "cuteness" can be counted on one hand.

16. LBJ launched the Great Society, he led the war on poverty, he passed the voting rights act
LBJ did many great things. Should that have given him a free pass from being crticized over his Viet Nam War policy?

21. If you think that Obama only gets criticized about policies on War.....
think again....and no one, absolutely no one mentioned a free pass....
but you know this....cause he hasn't gotten a free pass on anything yet.
Even when he scratches his behind, folks have a heated discussion about
whether it was the thing to do. Seriously....it's getting quite sad.

22. Mark my words...the ONLY thing which will matter in 2010 & 2012
November elections is the unemployment rate. The president
could achieve 1000 different things and that won't matter.
The masses will mainly look at jobs...gaining or losing.

What Stephanapolous coined in Bill Clinton's campaign in 1992
still holds true....It is the economy, stupid!
