You have to be moronic to vote for Bunnypants,
can't we use this to our advantage? Can't we BULLY them with brains?

I'm serious; I'm tired of playing nice. For years, we've been labeled soft on EVERYTHING, sissies, worse. But one thing we have always had on our side is BRAINS.

The momentum is building, but this has to be done on a one-to-one basis; we don't have the attack poodles on our side.

Can it be done? How?

Forgive my ranting question, I'm just ever so frustrated at the dimwittedness of Bunny's supporters this morning (and I also finished reading "Attack Poodles," too; hilarious book, but also frustrating)!

4. Well, if the shoe fits--sorry, but it's the truth.
Let's just say the act proves the mental state.

6. The right has used our brains AGAINST us; don't you think middle ground
voters would rather be thought of as intelligent?

I know this is out there, but I'm immensely frustrated that (sorry-, but it's true) nearly everyone I know is supporting Bush.

7. I'm frustrated too
I just don't think that talking down to people will bring anything positive to the campaign. I've been of the opinion all along that Kerry had to take the position that the invasion in Iraq was wrong. So far, he's only partially adopted that stance with a "we went about it wrong" theme. It's getting pretty late in the game for him to do an about face so I'm trying to come up with other ideas as well.

What do you think about him running against the GOP? They control everything now and right track/wrong track numbers seem to favor Kerry. Perhaps we should tie those wrong track numbers around the neck of the Republican Party as a whole.

Or, should Kerry consider a more populist message? Although many members of this board complain about Gores' 2000 campaign, he did much better than the media had lead everyone to believe he would. I still think his "people versus the powerful" message helped him a lot but I know many here don't agree with that either.

I guess, I'm kind of like you, wondering what we are going to need to do to change the dynamics of the race.

3. Stupid people just become resentful
It's like dealing with children -- they'll do the opposite of what you want them to do if you take an approach like that.

What you describe is very much like the RW-created straw man of the "liberal elite." That has been a very effective talking point for the right -- no need to make it a reality.
