1. The GOP has been fairly smart in attempting to exploit populist anger.

Their teabagfests have been a bizarre mix of RW lunacy and populist fury. Dems have been reluctant to tap into that powerful vein of anger, in part because one can marginalize oneself by misplaying that hand, and in part because it's hard to demand your country back when you control the House, Senate, and White House.

2. The people are being fucked. Teachers, Police, Firemen, Welders, Warehouse workers, Garbage People,

Nurses, etc. All of the people in the trenches effecting real change are getting fucked by Union busters, Nafta, and corporations. A small percentage of people are destroying the world. They are sucking the life out of the poor, because the middle class doesn't exist anymore, because the majority of Americans are one missed pay check from being homeless or a catastrophic health problem from being homeless. Cost of living is damn near un-achievable, while wages have flatlined. The elite are parasites and are sucking blood from a dead caracas. We have people who fight against raising minimum wage $1 like that buck will break a billionaire. Sickening isn't.:mad: :puke:
