Fuck the blue dogs
Reform without regulatory oversight really doesn't do shit to protect the consumers.

Again, the democratic party is letting the right dictate failed policy.

1. More evidence of the fallacy of electing a Democratic Congress to get our agenda passed
Electing Democrats hasn't worked. Electing the "Left" kind of Democrats is what we must all work for.

2. You're not gonna GET the "Left" kind of Dems. in red states. We either get Conservadems or
Repubs. I'd rather the Dems. be in the majority than having a small, liberal minority (like the Repubs. are doing right now by trying to challenge their more liberal Repubs. with teabagger conservatives).

3. I won't vote for Evan Bayh next year--he is in bed with the health industry
and his wife is actually working for Wellpoint.

Enough of these phony Democrats!

5. You'd prefer a Repub.? Even a DINO is better than a REPUB. We need to keep control
of Congress or the Repubs. will have control of the agenda.

7. I won't vote for Senator in Indiana next year. The fear mongering that gives us pukes with Ds after
their names doesn't work anymore.

Do we have control of the agenda in Congress today? FRAK No! If we did, Single Payer would have never been kept off the table, together with impeachment.

8. We DO have OFFICIAL control even if it's not practical due to the numbers of
Conservadems. Those Conservadems are STILL better than Repubs., especially since the Repubs. have a president right now that they HATE.

which we have bought too many times in the past. No more!

I am not the only Hoosier DUer that sees Bayh as a worthless POS.

We got several critical and important races next year, and our time and efforts will got to elect those Democrats. Bayh is not one of them!

PS: I already donated money to my candidate for US Senate: Kirsten Gillibrand of New York. Unlike Bayh, Kirsten is working to repeal DADT.

10. Nope. I live in NY so I have Schumer and Gillibrand. But I live in a liberal state
unlike the state you live in. If you prefer a Repub. over a Dem., and would prefer Repubs. get the majority, that's YOUR opinion. But I bet Bayh is at least better than if a REPUB. took his seat...at least on SOME issues.

Thanks for donating to my Senator. :D

12. There is not difference between Lugar and Bayh
And the Indiana Democratic Party won't allow a challenge to Bayh in the primaries.

So FRAK Bayh. FRAK the corporate whore he is married to.

13. Regardless of who gets elected, it does us no good if we can't
get any democratic policy enacted, or better yet progressive policy. If electing DINOs ends up with us accomplishing nothing, then we loose even when we win the election.

The ONLY solutions are to

1. find a way to demand some party loyalty on key votes so that DINOs tow the party line when it is vitally important.

2. or, find a way to somehow get a real democrat elected regardless of how much conservatives dominate the local culture.

If we are going to accept DINOs and let them keep disrupting our party then we're giving up, throwing in the towel and handing republicans the win over and over again. :(

14. Or don't support or vote for DINOs at all!
Eventually they will get the message.

These things happen because the well-to-do Democratic establishment has nothing but contempt for the Democratic base and, unlike the GOP establishment, they do not fear their base.

WE need to end the malignant myth of Corporate person hood. Force the corporations to release the strangle hold they have on OUR democracy.

19. I agree 100%
I see no problem with competition and open-markets, but when you grant person-hood to an entity whose sole objective is to provide return for shareholders you get a system that debases democracy. Look at the vertical integration of the media and the ill-effects it has had on American public life for an example. We need to go back to a system that attempts to keep the playing field somewhat level so that the interests of the corporations don't squash the interests of everyone.
