Join me in writing MSNBC re: their Rush-fest this morning...
Edited on Mon Oct-12-09 07:47 AM by Clio the Leo
.... ELEVEN minutes of that trash .... I wouldn't have even minded eleven minutes of the ACTUAL GOP opposition this much, but ELEVEN minutes of Rush. I cant think of a single time when they (Morning Joe) have broadcast an 11 minute interview with the President. There is NO excuse for that! Grrrrrrr!!!

Join me in writing them this morning to complain.....

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28437928/ns/msnbc_tv-morning_joe/

... broadcasting 11 minutes of Rush on a show about news and politics is equivalent to letting Hulk Hogan do color commentary during the Olympic Greco-Roman wrestling meets.

2. While you are at it, write NBC.
They aired it first. MSNBC only repeats what is on the "Toady Show." (No, I didn't misspell that word before "Show.")

3. a good thing
I didn't see it, so I don't know if it was Rush's usual bile, but I have to assume it was. And if it was, good. Show it. The more they show of Rush, the more people get turned off. Except for the 20% of nutballs who hang on his every word. THe majority of folks are reviled by him. I like that they're being reminded of how disgusting he is.

4. ew
I just turned it on, and they are interviewing Hitchens (hungover as always), who not only says that Obama did not deserve the nobel, but is pretty much criticizing Obama for not chastising the committee for giving it to him. Good grief.

And yeah, on the Rush thing. They try to pretend they are sooooo different than Rush on Morning Joe, just because Rush has made cracks about Mika and Joe, but it's a symbiotic relationship. Mika and Joe get to promote Joe as the "rational Republican" to boost book sales, etc (see, Rush hates Joe!), while sharing talking points with Rush.

5. Methinks old Rush is worried that the RNC et al are hammering on him to
clean up his act a bit and stop giving gifts to the Left.

10. That topped out at 1:34 seconds......
(that stop watch on the iphone comes in handy every now and then.)

But you gotta love what she said, when asked if she was being marginalized in the Obama admin "I'm not the type that needs to be on TV all the time, maybe that's a woman thing, I'm self-confident enough that I dont need the ego-stroking" (paraphrased)

Marginalized my hind end!!!

9. Thanks for the link. Here is what I wrote:
Good grief!!! I have had to turn your program off for the past several months because it is like watching Fox News. This morning I thought I would give it another try and who is there???? Rush!! Sorry, guys, that did it for me. Wish the TV still showed test patterns which would be preferable to watch instead of Morning Joe crap.

Edited on Mon Oct-12-09 07:58 AM by Clio the Leo
I didn't see any mention, but I didn't see the entire show.

12. Um, how about stop watching it. That's what I did 6 months ago, and
I haven't looked back.

If you want news and information, cable news (MSNBC, CNN, Fox News -- they are more alike than you think) is the LAST place to go.
