Kerry will win - don't fall for Rove's ratfucking and psyops
Polls - remember, Gore was down like 50-39 in the polls one week before the election - and ended up getting more votes than Bush. Do you really believe the race went to 49-49 in one week? No, the polls are all manipulated to hell by the pollsters 'models'. It doesn't mean they intentionally manipulate (although they might), it's just that they are really shitty at what they do.

Kerry ran a bad campaign in August. His campaign forgot that if someone calls you a liar, you have to call them a liar right back, or else you look like a liar.

However, the economy has lost over 1 million jobs (while the population grows exponentially), we have young men and women dying in a war to establish the neocons' American Oil Empire, which IS NOT PART OF THE WAR ON TERRORISM, OBL has had three years to come up with his next 9/11, we are torturing prisoners, the military is stretched to its limits and needs fresh recruits (draft), pregnant women can't eat fish, childhood asthma is soaring. Dick lied. Colin lied. Rumsfeld lied. Condi lied. Dubya lied. The Aug. 6 PDB. Seven minutes listening to 'The Pet Goat'. And did I mention invading the wrong country (no WMD)? On the verge of civil war in Iraq (who knew that Sunnis and Shiites didn't get along? Dubya, for one, cause he doesn't know Shiite from Shineola.)

Suck it up! Rove wants you, core Democrats and Kerry supporters to become demoralized. If you fall for it, Karl Rove wins.

1. There are lies, damned lies, and statistics
That's what Mark Twain said, and he's right.

2. I wonder
Most of the polls we see are conducted by new organizations. Are they designed and implemented by the news organizations themselves, or are they contracted out to polling firms. I'm not very knowledgable in this field.

Are there any serious, professional polls out there conducted by people whose background includes statistics?

The strategy seems clear: One massive propoganda initiative after another.

Given the MASSIVE AND EXTENSIVE shortcomings and failures of this administration, how is it possible for Kerry to be losing ground so quickly?

Answer: He isn't! It is bogus propoganda designed by Rove to produce despair and resignation. DON'T FALL FOR IT.

5. Campaign must hammer Dubya's vaunted "terrorism" credentials
Only a lazy, feckless and compliant media would let Dubya get away with this.

Bush cynically used 9/11 to go after Saddam, abandoning the "hunt for Osama bin Laden"--you remember the "wanted dead or alive trash talk"-- and has made us less safe and increased terrorist recruiting by all accounts.

This is sheer and utter incompetence. Bush will be held accountable by the people in November despite the press largely abandoning their watchdog role and becoming lap dogs to this unbelievably corrupt and inept administration.

Evidently, we, the people, are going to have to spread the word as we cannot rely on the press, who serve mainly as stenographers to the RNC.
