A "Minnesota Nice" bumper sticker confrontation
I was driving into Western Minnesota with my Kerry, "Who Would Jesus Bomb", and "If you want Peace, work for Justice (1 in English, 1 in Spanish) stickers. A truck pulled past me, and I saw the Bush bumpersticker, the driver sticks in hand out and I think, "Great." Then he gives me a thumbs up. I wave. He moves into the turn lane and drives off. I wave again as he makes the turn. He clearly passed me to give me the thumbs up. Of course it could have been the "Start Seeing Motorcycles" sticker that he liked.

1. Maybe he didn't read the "WWJB" sticker as ironic.
There are lots of people who support Jr but take issue with his claim that Islam is a peaceful religion ...

5. I forgot to mention
the Wellstone stickers on the car too. So hopefully even the ironically impaired could understand the politics of the driver.

6. You must not have ever attended Jackpine Savage Days
in Spooner, WI.

The natural range of the Jackpine Savage is from the Upper Peninsula (Yoopers are a subspecies) across N. WI & N. MN.

I used to do this whole schtick about how to tell the difference between a Jackpine Savage and a Woods Hippie.
